Before Alfresco Life was born, we were both working full-time in successful businesses and careers, which involved the usual commutes, time challenges, and stresses. Long story short, after starting a family, dealing with what life throws at us sometimes, and facing mounting pressures around our day-to-day living, we were left scrambling for the alternative.
So we found a home with land for our beloved horses, gave away our business, and made some huge life choices. Once the dust had settled, we realised how much we loved outdoor living and what a worthwhile effect it was having on us. We decided to, once again, take a great big leap of faith and opened Alfresco Life at the beginning of 2006.
Our number one mission was, and still is, to provide exceptional products and services that make a real difference in people’s lives, and allow them to create their own personal sanctuaries in their gardens. The goal: to improve mental health and well-being, and find relief from all the stresses, worries, and troubles of a world facing mounting debts, reeling from tragedies, and becoming reliant on devices, technology, and screens.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve helped countless families do just that. We believe that everyone deserves to have a little slice of paradise in their back garden, and we’re here to help make that a reality.
